This meeting of the Innovative Zero Carbon Working Group (IZCWG) is a chance to discuss zero carbon transport, and to share your own zero carbon work on any subject with other working group members.
The first hour of the meeting will (loosely) follow on from the Joint Working Group Meeting on Multi-Modal Transport on 11 October. Following feedback from some working group members, the conversation will focus particularly on how businesses can contribute to zero carbon transport. There will be speakers (to be confirmed soon!) to open this discussion out by showcasing good practice, and assistance that is available to businesses to help them engage in this sector.
The second hour of the meeting will be a round table to allow working group members to share anything they are working on in zero carbon innovation (not necessarily transport) with other members, to make connections and explore potential opportunities together.
Most of the meetings of the IZCWG over the past 12 months have been held jointly with other Working Groups from across the Innovation Alliance for the West Midlands. At this meeting we will explore together your thoughts on this, and together set the direction of the Working Group in 2023.
