Code Your Future works with refugees, asylum seekers and other disadvantaged groups by teaching them how to code, developing their soft skills, and help them find meaningful work at the end of the course.
They are looking for technical and non-tech volunteers to help their students prepare for jobs in tech. They have a range of remote opportunities available – like coding teachers, mentors and online event coordinators.
Their classes and study groups are fully remote so that people can volunteer while staying safe at home. Current and previous volunteers say their experience at CodeYourFuture was an ideal place to use their skills for good or learn new skills in a thriving, inclusive community.
If this sounds like something your organisation or wider network would like to get involved in, please share the information and ask them to sign up to their events at this link.
