Transport for West Midlands recognise the power of innovation in helping to solve our regional transport challenges. We also recognise that success can only be achieved by working with committed partners, who are willing to constantly push for better regional outcomes.
For those reasons we are introducing the “Mass Transit Accelerator”. A programme open to UK based businesses, giving an opportunity to work alongside TfWM in trying to inspire a step change in how transport is delivered and used by local residents.
TfWM want to harvest the best and brightest ideas on how to improve our local transport ecosystem. For this initiative we are focused solely on solutions which have potential to improve the outcomes and financial sustainability of our mass transit public transport system. To develop the most promising ideas we will be offering THREE successful candidates £15,000. A further £50,000 can be bid for by the three successful applicants, to enable the further development of one of the successful ideas to a more advanced stage.
At this point we want to hear from the selected UK Companies, who we believe may have a transport idea worthy of development.
