A unique opportunity for innovators and key stakeholders to improve patient and staff experiences along the urgent and emergency care pathway.
West Midlands Health and Wellbeing Innovation Network are running a challenge led innovation programme with the Black Country ICB to enable a more integrated urgent and emergency care pathway.
The challenges facing Black Country ICB are representative of the challenges facing other ICBs in England. Therefore, this is a fantastic opportunity for innovators to solve this challenge with potential to scale to market.
The 3 challenge areas this programme will focus on are:
- 1.Data analysis, visualisation and predictive analytics to proactively manage demand and capacity.
- 2. Using shared patient data across the system to improve patient pathways.
- 3. Standardising referral mechanisms from 999 to downstream services to improve visibility and quality of data shared across the system.
