We were delighted to see so many at our April Innovation Policy and Practice event ‘Meet the Virtual Innovation Team – Supporting Innovation in WM Business’.
A Virtual Innovation Team (VIT) has been built in the last year, comprising business facing innovation experts hosted by a range of regional cluster/ sector bodies, with the aim to enable recovery and growth through innovation. Between them they support businesses across the sectors and major market opportunities of the WM Local Industrial Strategy including transport technologies, manufacturing, mobility, heath, low carbon, creative, construction and mobility. The Virtual Innovation Team approach is a unique and essential element of the WM Innovation Programme that allows learning and collaborative activity within and between sectors to develop new approaches to stimulating innovation in WM business.
