Following the success of our first online Innovation Policy and Practice event, in this second virtual event the topic was ‘Accelerating to Recovery – private sector support for innovation and growth’. A speaker panel explored business recovery and growth, with the emphasis on private sector support through a range of regional business accelerator programmes with an innovation focus. We also heard from businesses who had benefited from the accelerator, including Christina Jones from Blacktype Digital and SHiFT 30, and Jamie Bakewell from Bigtooth Studios.

We also had an update from Innovation Alliance and the WM Innovation Programme, including a first view of the Grid, a brand new Virtual Innovation Programme, and some online networking before we start!
