Our September meeting took place in the Institute for Digital Healthcare at the University of Warwick. We were welcomed by Prof Lawrence from Warwick Medical School before being given a tour of the IDH. We also received presentations from Dr Mark Elliott from IDH, WMG, University of Warwick on ‘Getting active with the data: Using movement analytics for digital health innovation, and Guy Smallman and Deborah Griggs of University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire about the cutting-edge technologies being developed for cancer diagnosis and personalised treatment through the PathLAKE project.
We finished by hearing about new digital platform ‘Mindful’ that aims to support the mental health of regional school children from Bev Mabey.
