IAWM are pleased to be working in partnership with Birmingham City Council, Innovation Birmingham, West Midlands Academic Health Science Network and Birmingham City University to kick off a week long programme of events for Digital Leaders Week.
Join us on Monday 17th June at STEAMhouse for The Great City Food Digital Treasure Hunt!
The Great City Food Digital Treasure Hunt is about using the energy and passion of digital experts, activists and amateur digital sleuths to hunt down the digital data available through the web that will help Birmingham understand the food environment of the city.
The data may reflect food production, food retail and purchasing behaviour, food consumption or food waste.
What we want to know is WHAT DOES OUR CITY EAT!
The ambition is that through the Digital Treasure Hunt we will discover different ways of understanding the food environment in Birmingham and this will be used to inform the emerging thinking on tackling unhealthy weight in the city by the Birmingham Health and Wellbeing Board and the Public Health Division.
The event will also provide information on a number of digital support programmes available to SMEs across the region and an opportunity to network with likeminded peers.
This event is part of Digital Leaders Week – The most inspirational week in the Digital Transformation calendar. Digital Leaders Week celebrates, showcases, shares and inspires the best of UK digital transformation across the public, private and nonprofit sectors.
