DCMS West Midlands Cyber Security Strategy Consultation:
On 2nd March 2020 the Innovation Alliance for the West Midlands is working with the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS) to facilitate a West Midlands consultation to help DCMS understand how participants feel government can drive growth and innovation in the cyber security sector. This will feed into the development of their next cyber security strategy.
Come along to help central government understand the West Midlands ecosystem. How does the cyber security supply chain work here? Who are the big consumers and how do SMEs market their cyber services? How does industry work with Academia?
DCMS will present the West Midlands findings from their latest Cyber Security Sectoral Analysis (rate of growth, revenue and employment figures and how this compares with the more established cyber clusters) – see how the data stacks up compared to the work you know is happening.
