Midlands Development Conference

15 September 2022

The Midlands has an economy of £222bn each year. The region is set for over £10bn in inward investment to improve infrastructure, deliver housing, logistics and commercial space in the next 18 months. This conference will provide a platform for regional leadership to share insight into their plans to develop an inclusive, innovative Midlands.

Centred around the UK’s levelling up agenda, the annual Midlands Development Conference brings together the region’s biggest developers to showcase billions of pounds worth of their forthcoming projects and discuss key economic growth challenges that the built environment industry will help solve as part of their regeneration ambitions.

Topics for 2022 will include creating a zero carbon Midlands, science and innovation, solving the housing crisis, building smarter and healthier cities, and maximising the potential of the Midlands Engine.
