Midlands Green Hydrogen Workshop

10 April 2024

Join the Midlands Green Hydrogen Workshop

Date & Time: 8.30am – 5pm Wednesday 10th April 2024

Location: The Station, Millenium Point, Birmingham, B4 7XG

What is the workshop about?

Birmingham has the biggest of the 4 present operating hydrogen stations in the UK, but that is neither green nor economic because it is powered by Grid electricity. The price for filling a hydrogen vehicle in Birmingham is £23/kg which needs to drop to 10£/kg, near the price charged in Germany and China. If we are to achieve the planned number of green hydrogen buses (144) in 2025, it is essential that onshore wind and solar facilities are installed as soon as possible.

Delegates (with lunch at 12.30pm) £99 non-profit

Students (with lunch at 12.30pm) £59 non-profit

This workshop examines this concept in detail by bringing together industries, universities, charities, and government to find the right way forward.
