The established premier pitching competition of the West Midlands is back with a new name; Minerva Birmingham Pitch Up.

Minerva Birmingham Pitch Up is a pitching competition (previously known as Pitchfest WM) which since 2015 has been staging live finals at Venturefest WM, the region’s most prestigious event for growth-focused businesses.

For ambitious business owners, the competition will provide the opportunity to improve your ability to win investment while simultaneously boosting your business’s profile.

For investors, Pitch Up offers a chance to view some of the best up-and-coming talent in the West Midlands from a wide sector of industries. As part of the programme, we also deliver an introduction to early investing for those interested in finding out more.

The competition was created by the Centre for Growth at Aston University, Bizzlnn at the University of Birmingham and Minerva at the University of Warwick Science Park more than five years ago. Pitch Up has since put over 125 entrepreneurs directly in front of investors and helped bring more than £3,000,000 of investments to the region’s small businesses.
